I found yoga while living in Boston (1999), when a friend suggested that we try a class together. At first I was only looking for something to keep me active, but it became clear that yoga was more than just exercise for the physical body. The tools that I was learning on the mat began to benefit me, both physically and mentally. I knew from then on that I would want yoga to be a part of life.
I finished my 200 hour teacher training in 2013, but still enjoy taking workshops (especially Anatomy focused) whenever I can. It is my wish to help others discover all of the wonderful ways that yoga has to offer. I love to teach a variety of poses that will keep my students challenged in a fun, playful way. Off the mat I am an Accountant and a mom to two awesome boys. When I am not working or spending time with my family, I enjoy running and working on my golf game.
