Before I was a yoga teacher, I received my Masters in Public Health and PhD in Epidemiology; I studied lifestyle factors related to health and disease. As a regular yoga student, I became increasingly aware of the power of yoga to promote overall physical and mental wellness, as well as life balance. Yoga has been absolutely transformational in my life, and as a public health professional, I feel strongly that yoga is for everybody!
I enjoy practicing and teaching vinyasa flow yoga. Basically, that means that I like to teach moving and breathing – other than those two basic pieces, I like to switch things up. I enjoy creating a practice that is simple but challenging, and most importantly, accessible to all.
